The purpose of the present research was to record inquiring data on the elements that lead to effective teaching. Ten factors proved to be of great importance. The four more important ones that are most commonly met involve: organisation and administration (21.36%), teaching strategies (20.51%), feedback (10.25%), and the positive- supporting environment of learning (9.40%). Factors as the planning of teaching (8.54%), flexibility (7.69 %), evaluation (6.83%), class control and discipline (6.83%), preparation the teaching (5.12%) and com- munication skills (3.41%) were also found of essential importance. The process of improving teaching effectiveness does not simply depend on the operation of a reliable set of rules and behaviours. It is rather a whole mechanism, which in order to be effective relies on the contribution of numerous factors.
