Our staff member Giorgos Sakkas Sixth in the world rankings with a new National Record
The 2015 AIDA Individual Depth World Championship is taking place in Limassol, Cyprus. The championship started on September 11th and will end with a closing ceremony on September 20th 2015. Our staff member, Dr. Giorgos Sakkas has been ranked sixth in the world rankings system diving to -64 meters in a discipline called "Constant No Fins» (diving without fins) which constitutes a new National Record. The dive lasted for 2:32 minutes and it was considered “difficult” due to weather conditions with strong underwater current. Over 100 athletes from 25 countries participate with the Greek National Team consisting of five divers.
