The collection of the Library includes books, journals, conference proceedings, theses, dissertations, reference material (e.g. dictionaries, encyclopedias) and audiovisual material (e.g. CD-ROMs, DVDs, videotapes).
All members of the University community, as well as the general public, have the right to use the library. For members of the University, a prerequisite for enrollment in the library is the demonstration of academic identity (pass). For the general readership to register and issue a "Member Card" at the library, proof of identity and a photograph are required.
The users of the Library can:
- Borrow titles (books, theses, CD-ROMs, videotapes, etc.)
- Renew the titles by phone or on the spot
- Use the reading-room and information sources (encyclopedias, dictionaries, etc.)
- Access hard copy and electronic journals
- Order articles and books by other libraries, subject to a charge (see Inter-library link)
- Photocopy library materials (card cost: 3 euros for 100 copies).
The maximum number of titles that a user can borrow and the duration of the loan are shown on the following table. In case of a delayed title, the fee is 0.30 € per day.
